When Elaine & I were planning her extended family session I loved the idea of doing their family photos at their house out in the country in Southwest, WI. I stopped out at her place to scope out the area and we found a few spots that would work well (although we were looking for shady spots in case of sun, but little did we know that would be the least of our worries!). The day of their session it was raining when I arrived so we were scoping out their machine shed to possibly stand inside with the large doors open so you could at least see outside. We decided that I'd come back in a couple hours and see if the rain would let up by then. When I got back it was still misting a bit, UGH! I started setting up in the machine shed and it FINALLY quit raining so they were able to stand just outside the doors of the machine shed while I stood inside. The backdrop was perfect, beautiful countryside!
The entire family was so welcoming and a blast to photograph! I didn't hear 1 person complain about the time change, the weather, or about taking photos. They took my advice and did a great job coordinating everyone's outfits too! And that really shows in their photos, they turned out beautiful. Elaine - You and your husband did an amazing job raising a beautiful family. Thank you for choosing me to capture these memories for you and your family. Enjoy!
