Weather in Wisconsin can definitely be unpredictable and it sure was every time we tried to go outside for the Carson's family portraits! We originally scheduled for late March for Spring photos, but it was way too cold so we rescheduled for the beginning of April hoping Spring would make an appearance, but the temps were still in the 30's so we re-scheduled AGAIN for the beginning of May. It was definitely a lot warmer, but after I arrived and started shooting one of the kiddos was not feeling so good so we decided it would be best if I come back when she was feeling better. You don't want to look back at your family photos and remember your little one being sick, so it's just best to reschedule when that happens. Finally we were able to get there family photos done and I'm so excited to share them with you! The session was done in the family's backyard and the location was perfect. If you are planning a family session keep your backyard in mind for location. :) These kiddos were very busy so we did more of a lifestyle session just capturing everyone being themselves versus a posed session. Sometimes these are the best memories anyways, when everyone is just being themselves vs. looking at the camera and smiling.
