Naylee is my husband's cousin so I did her 8 month session while I was babysitting. I have done this before with her at her 4 month session in the studio and it was no problem, but this time we were doing outdoor photos as well as a fruit bath in the crick (which I'd never done). I defiantly didn't expect this to be as difficult as it was. Trying to get everything ready to go and to Katie's Garden in Platteville before noon (because I didn't want to shoot in the mid-day sun). Well I ended up shooting in the mid-day sun to say the least lol. But we had a lot of fun, and luckily once we got there I had my younger sister there to help.

8 months is a great age to do some kind of bath photos at the end of your session, they're usually sitting up very well and I haven't met a baby yet that doesn't like baths!   I've done floral & fruit milk baths and of course bubble baths. But, for Naylee I wanted to incorporate a rainbow in some way because she is a rainbow baby and we've done a little something with rainbows for both her Newborn and 4 month sessions. So I decided we would do a rainbow bath. I used strawberries, orange slices, lemon slices, green leaves, blue and purple flowers. As soon as I put her in the tub she immediately started eating the fruit, it was hard to get any photos of her without fruit in her mouth! lol
