When kids get older and move out of the house it becomes harder and harder to get everyone together so family portraits don't happen very often, but I want to thank my Father-in-law's girlfriend Abby for coming up with the idea to get some family portraits this fall. She wanted to use them as gifts for her family. (Which is a great gift idea!) It wasn't easy getting everyone together on the same day and we had to reschedule once because of the cold. We ended up getting together for photos before celebrating Thanksgiving. We did the photos on my father-in-laws land and then went back to the farm to get a few with the Wilson Farms sign in the background. I was even able to jump in one of the photos by putting my camera on a tripod and timer.

It's so important to capture those family portraits even though it is hard to get everyone together and I'm so happy we did. :)
